Conversation Starters

To Speak or Not To Speak?

To help students develop speaking skills you need to use balanced activities approach that combines language input.

Language input comes in the form of teacher talk,  listening activities, reading passages, and the language heard and read outside of class.

It gives children the material they need to begin producing language themselves.

These ESL speaking activities have the simple aim of getting your kids to speak openly and freely, with minimal support, in order to achieve their communicative goals.

Conversation Starters is a set of cards to improve speaking and reading skills either in your ESL/EFL classroom or with your kids at home.
These work as prompts for different conversations.
