Make Thanksgiving special for your ESL students with these great ideas!

Thanksgiving is a special time of year where we give thanks for all the good in our lives. For many people, it is also a time to enjoy delicious food with family and friends. If you're an ESL teacher, you can use Thanksgiving as a chance to teach your students about this important holiday. 

Here are some ideas to get you started:

Have students research the history of Thanksgiving and present their findings to the class. 

Teach students about the traditional Thanksgiving feast and have them help prepare a meal. 

Have students create their own Thanksgiving-themed crafts or decorations. 

Assign students to write essays or give speeches about what they are thankful for. 

Have students make a list of things they are thankful for.

Make thanksgiving cards for family and friends

Decorate the classroom with thanksgiving themed crafts.

Have students share what they are thankful for with the class.

Assign students to research the history of Thanksgiving and present what they learn to the class.
